Looking for a career change or re-start? This workshop will give you the tools you need, along with the opportunity to connect with other Seattle University alumni and work on your professional networking skills. Note: You must be able to attend all 4 sessions (except in cases of illness or emergency)

"Elizabeth's classes helped me identify the direction I wanted to go with regard to my career. I don't think I would have identified this without attending this workshop."

The workshop will cover:
• Self-assessment tools to identify the job/career that’s right for you
• Creating your job-search strategy
• Developing a personal narrative
• Networking and informational meetings
• Resume formats, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters and emails that get results
• Tactics to enlist help and “be a vulture where you want to work”
• Job interview coaching

Registration fee of $50 includes four workshop sessions, a complete package of handouts, self-assessment tools, sample resumes and cover letters, interview coaching guide and more.
That's a $400+ value for $50!

Behavior Pattern Toolkit

The Seattle University Alumni Association has partnered with the Effectiveness Institute to offer the Behavior Pattern Assessment Toolkit at a discounted price. As an added bonus, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Seattle University scholarship fund. For $29.95, you will get 3-part toolkit that includes:

  • Behavior Pattern Assessment - an online tool that reveals your personal behavior pattern
  • Behavior Pattern video - introduces the behavior pattern model
  • My Plan Guide - identifies the behavior pattern of someone you know and the most effective way to interact with them

In 20 minutes, the self-guided BPA toolkit helps you understand your behavior pattern and how to improve your interactions with others. It examines the two dimensions of how people use energy when they interact with others, then demonstrates ways to apply this information for better communication at work, home and play. To purchase, visit the Effectiveness Institute website and use COUPON CODE: BPT-SU when you check out.
