Accounting is the language of business and like any language, accounting requires practice to make perfect. The accounting tutors are here to help you practice and master the material for class. Tutoring in the accounting lab is a free service for students who are looking to catch up or get ahead in class.

Accounting Lab Community

The accounting tutoring lab is frequently staffed with volunteer tutors from Beta Alpha Psi. Volunteer tutors are all capable of providing high-quality tutoring for any student seeking help with introductory accounting classes. In addition to volunteer tutors, the accounting lab serves as a place to study and for accounting majors to socialize. The lab has many of the textbooks used in class and also is located within close proximity to Seattle University instructors.

Want to Volunteer?

If you have completed ACCT 2300 and 2310, you can volunteer to tutor your peers at the accounting lab. Hours spent at the accounting lab will count as volunteer hours for most school-related clubs.

If you wish to volunteer, please contact David Pham at phamd4@seattleu.edu with the following information:

  • Name
  • Accounting classes completed with grades
  • Availability
  • Why you want to volunteer at the accounting lab

Volunteers are expected to maintain consistent attendance in the lab. The amount of hours spent in the accounting lab is up to the volunteer.
