About this Course

Transportation is at the center of our human existence. However, the ecosystem of transportation is complex and intersectional with issues of cost, access, congestion, and safety; not to mention politics, legislation, sustainability, and justice. Students will explore the evolution of transportation in the United States, to understand the systems we have today. Additionally, students will examine transportation systems through hands-on engagement, and assess the regulatory frameworks, funding structures, institutions, and stakeholders that shape transportation policy.
