The College of Education has an affordable and convenient pathway option for students admitted to the MIT program to earn their ELL Endorsement concurrently with the MIT program. This pathway has been designed to expand endorsement opportunities for students while completing the MIT degree.
The three month online summer program consists of 3 courses that meet in virtual, synchronous sessions three times a week in the evenings, with additional asynchronous work required throughout the week. Courses are taught by certified current and former classroom teachers from a variety of Washington school districts. Seattle University faculty oversee the courses to ensure that the materials and teaching are current and relevant.
Students interested in completing the ELL endorsement as part of their MIT program must consult their advisor prior to registering for the endorsement program. Please log on to SU Online to access your advisor's name and contact information.
