Seattle University College of Education partners with organizations to provide high-quality professional development opportunities for educators to strengthen their skills, leadership, and ability to advocate for their students and communities.
Our lasting partnerships with community, regional, national and international organizations allow us to develop programs that meet the needs of educators and the organizations where they work.
Professional development and continuing education opportunities include:
- Endorsement Academies: Our unique endorsement academies, designed to provide a high-quality pathway for teachers to earn endorsements in high needs areas.
- Professional Certificates: Certificate opportunities such as our Community College certificate program to help early-career faculty improve their teaching and meet the needs of their changing student populations.
- Clock and credit hours: We partner with non-profit agencies, ESDs, and other providers interested in offering university post-baccalaureate credits, Washington state clock hours, or continuing education units for workshops, conferences, online courses or other learning opportunities for educators.
- Conferences: We help host and co-sponsor conferences, workshops and seminars at local, regional and national levels.
If your organization is interested in developing a conference, offering professional development units, or organizing a certificate program with the College of Education, please contact the Research & Online Professional Learning office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
