Matteo Ricci College utilizes a peer advising system to help our students succeed socially and academically. Peer advisors work one-on-one with their advisees to guarantee that the college meets the needs of all students. New students benefit from their peer advisor's wealth of knowledge about the college and the university which guides them to make good decisions about opportunities within the university community. In their senior year, all students are counseled by the Director of Advising.
Peer advisors assist students with:
- Designing short and long-term academic plans
- Planning coursework and registering for classes
- Filling out various student forms and paperwork
- Fostering a successful academic experience
- Navigating transitions
The Director of Advising provides training, supervision, and support to the peer advisors.
