Every year when fall quarter begins the campus comes to life. The Seattle University College of Nursing's Clinical Performance Lab (CPL) recently threw a “baby shower” to mark the arrival of a new maternal and neonatal birthing simulator, Victoria. Guests at the event welcomed the arrival of Victoria’s baby, Mark, during a simulated birth demonstration.

College of Nursing faculty member, Dr. Katherine Camacho Carr, traveled to Rwanda this summer as part of her continued participation in a 5-year Survive and Thrive Global Development Alliance project. Funding is provided by the American College of Nurse-Midwives Global Outreach Department.
