Detailed Information

On-campus: teacher who stays on-campus in a single, non-air conditioned dorm room for the duration of the training. The rooms are private with a sink, however restrooms and showers are shared.

Commuter: teacher who travels daily to training from home or other independently secured accommodation.

Participant Cancellation Policy:  
Prior to June 15 - NO FEE;
June 15-30 - $500; 
After June 30 - NO REFUND

PLTW @ SU reserves the right to cancel a sessions 30 days PRIOR to start of the session due to LOW ENROLLMENT. Full refunds for registration will be awarded.  Book Travel accordingly.

Registration

Please register through the PLTW national website. After you complete the registration, you will need to submit the Authorization to Attend  no later than June 1, 2017.

 

Meals

Participants staying on campus will receive 3 meals per day (including weekends) at our campus cafeteria. Lunch only at our cafeteria is included for commuters.

Accommodations

Participants stay in one of our student dorms on the Seattle University campus which are not air conditioned. The rooms are private with a sink, however restrooms and showers are shared.

Check-in is available as early as Sunday afternoon (after 1pm) and check-out is on the last day of training (by 10am). 

Attire

Please wear comfortable and appropriate classroom attire.

Scholarships

Availability of scholarships for Washington State teachers only can not be determined until the end of the Washington State Legislative Session approximately April.

Seattle University Graduate College Credits or Clock Hours 

Graduate credit hours available at $40/credit hour OR Clock Hours are also available.

Cancellation Policy

Prior to June 15 - NO FEE
June 15-30 - $500
After June 30 - NO REFUND*

*No refund for a cancellation after June 30, but a substitution may be arranged only at this CT site. No refund after a course has begun. There are NO REFUNDS for "NO SHOWS."
