Undergraduate Admissions

Non-Matriculated Admission

U.S. Citizens and permanent residents who do not intend to complete Seattle University degrees may enroll in undergraduate courses as non-matriculated students. Applicants must be in good academic and social standing at any colleges or universities where they may have studied earlier.

Students must complete a non-matriculated student application and submit an application fee. Non-matriculated students do not qualify for financial aid or academic counseling.

All students must also submit proof of immunization records in order to register for classes. Seattle University requires all students enrolled in undergraduate courses to provide documentation that they have had two doses of the Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR). Students may submit your immunizations using the Online Student Health Immunization Form.

During the fall, winter, and spring quarters, non-matriculated students will be admitted to courses on a space-available basis after all matriculated students have had the opportunity to register. During summer term, non-degree-seeking students may register when registration opens for the term.

Please see our policy regarding non-matriculated class level.
