Visit SU

We would love to meet you! Your visit is a chance to explore the campus and city and meet staff, students, and faculty who can tell you more about Seattle University. You are welcome here whether you are stopping by or staying awhile; visiting with a group or on your own.

Campus Tours and Information Sessions

On a campus tour, our student guides will spend 60 minutes sharing what it's like to live and learn in our distinct urban setting. We offer campus tours year-round Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. From October to June tours are also offered many Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and noon.

Additionally, Admissions information sessions are available weekdays at 10  a.m. (Monday through Friday) and 2 p.m. (Monday through Thursday), and at 1:30 p.m. (Friday) as part of the campus visit. These information sessions are designed to give you a brief overview of the university and our admissions and scholarship process. Students who sign up for campus tours are automatically registered for an information session, which takes place immediately prior to the selected tour in the Admissions and Alumni Building (where the tour begins/ends). If you wish to not attend the information session, the campus tour will depart from our office at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Fridays.

Extended Visits

If you have the time to stay awhile, you can live as a Redhawk for a day! In an extended visit, you’ll meet with faculty one-on-one, sit in on classes, take a guided tour, and meet with an admissions counselor. Learn more about extended visits and RSVP.

Transfer Fridays

If you're considering transferring to Seattle University, join us on Transfer Friday! These events are scheduled the first Friday of every month.  Bring your questions and learn more about why SU has the largest transfer population of any private university in Washington State. To check the schedule and register, click here.

Visiting with a group

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions welcomes visiting groups to campus. Group visits are designed specifically for high school students and prospective transfer students, and typically consist of a student-led campus tour. If requested, an information session with an admissions counselor can also be arranged. Due to limited availability of tour guides and classroom space, we cannot accommodate groups with more than 40 people. We welcome group visits Monday through Friday, mid-November through August. To arrange a group visit, please review our group visit policies, and then complete the Group Visit Request Form. Please note that we require at least three weeks' notice to organize your visit.

Admissions Events

In addition to our daily campus visits, the Admissions Office offers a number of events throughout the year to help students learn more about SU and navigate the admissions process. Learn more about by visiting our Events website.

It’s easy to do: Seattle University is located in an urban neighborhood, a few blocks from downtown and some of the coolest neighborhoods in Seattle. Check out the great food in the International District, the scene on Broadway Avenue in Capitol Hill, and historic Pioneer Square, all an easy walk from Seattle University.
