Visit SU

We would love to meet you! Your visit is a chance to explore the campus and city and meet staff, students, and faculty who can tell you more about Seattle University. You are welcome here whether you are stopping by or staying awhile; visiting with a group or on your own.

Campus Tours and Information Sessions

We offer campus visits year-round Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. From October to June, campus visits are also offered most Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and noon.

Our campus visits typically begin with an informational session*, followed by a student led campus tour. Our informational sessions are designed to give you a brief overview of the university, as well as our admissions and scholarship processes. On a campus tour, our student guides will spend an hour sharing what it's like to live and learn in our distinct urban setting.

*Please note that due to the availability of our Admissions Counselors we are unable to offer information sessions in September, November, December January and May; the campus visit will only consist of a campus tour during these specific months.

Summer 2018

Between the months of June and August, we will have our regularly scheduled tours Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., but please note that our Friday afternoon tours will begin at 1:00 p.m.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Seattle University Visit Office at (206) 220-8040 or

Extended Visits

If you have the time to stay awhile, you can live as a Redhawk for a day! In an extended visit, you’ll meet with faculty one-on-one, sit in on classes, take a guided tour, and meet with an admissions counselor. Learn more about extended visits and RSVP.

Visiting with a group

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions welcomes visiting groups to campus. Group visits are designed specifically for high school students and prospective transfer students, and typically consist of a student-led campus tour. If requested, an information session with an admissions counselor can also be arranged. Due to limited availability of tour guides and classroom space, we cannot accommodate groups with more than 40 people. We welcome group visits Monday through Friday, mid-November through August. To arrange a group visit, please review our group visit policies, and then complete the Group Visit Request Form. Please note that we require at least three weeks' notice to organize your visit.

Admissions Events

In addition to our daily campus visits, the Admissions Office offers a number of events throughout the year to help students learn more about SU and navigate the admissions process. Learn more about by visiting our Events website.
