Apply For Financial Aid

Submit your FAFSA.

Seattle University requires students seeking financial assistance to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Filing for the upcoming academic year begins on October 1. The state deadline for submission is at the end of June.

When asked to list the schools to which you would like your FAFSA results to be sent, be sure to list SU’s federal school code: 003790 prior to or as part of filing via the web.

Priority Consideration

Transfer students will receive priority consideration for Seattle University institutional financial aid provided that a completed FAFSA is received by the federal processor within 30 days of admission.

Students whose FAFSAs are filed after these deadlines may be considered for any Seattle University scholarships and federal and state need-based financial aid that may remain.

Typically, applicants who submit a FAFSA will receive a financial aid award two weeks after SU receives FAFSA results from the federal processor.
