Biography

Cameron J. Collins is an attorney, professor, film producer, podcaster, photographer, and aspiring author. Cameron earned his law degree with honors from Seattle University, where he was Director of the National Lawyers Guild and Music Director and General Manager at KSUB/KXSU, Seattle University’s radio station.
 
Cameron attended Santa Clara University for his undergraduate education, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and French & Francophone Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. During that time, he was a music editorialist for The Santa Clara and worked at KSCU Radio in many different capacities, including General Manager, Program Director, Promotions Director, and Fundraising Director. He was also a concert promoter and celebrated radio disc jockey, for which he was voted Silicon Valley’s Best Disc Jockey of 2001 and Best Local Celebrity of 2002.
 
In 2010, a film Cameron produced about the theft of his beloved Seattle Supersonics, Sonicsgate, won “Best Sports Film” at the Webby Awards and “Audience Choice Silver Medal for Excellence” at the Park City Film Music Festival. He is also an avid Sounders fan and serves as an officer in the fan government, Sounders Alliance Council, and as the media director for Gorilla FC, an Antifa Supporters Group of the Sounders. He is currently working on a book about Seattle’s Teen Dance Ordinance.
