Students in Seattle University's social work program have come to us exceptionally well prepared. This is certainly due to the remarkable preparation they receive from the field placement program and the school's strong social justice curriculum. Working with clients involved in the criminal justice system requires special attention to issues of oppression, discrimination and systemic racism. Students are well grounded in these theories and this is reflected in their excellent field work.
