Whether you are a Seattle native or a recent transplant, there is always more to learn about the history, challenges, and movements for change here in Seattle. Join us for a long weekend, grounding in Catholic Social Teaching and the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, of learning, engagement, and first steps toward action of being an active member of the Seattle community. The Urban Plunge developed out of the Encuentro Immersion, which brought together students from Seattle University and our Nicaraguan sister school, Universidad Centroamericana, for a week of co-immersion in the Puget Sound region.
