Join a group of your Seattle University colleagues to attend “The Amen Corner,” the first-ever Seattle production of James Baldwin’s best-known play, directed by Reggie D. White and presented by The Williams Project in partnership with Seattle U’s neighbors at LANGSTON.  While the show runs November 2-20, Seattle University faculty and staff can purchase tickets at a reduced price of $19.  On Thursday, November 10 at 7:30 pm, we have reserved tickets for 30 SU faculty and staff at that same price.  There will be a post-performance discussion later on campus (RSVP here to be notified when details for the discussion have been confirmed).

  • Click here to learn how to purchase reduced price tickets to attend the play on November 10th with your SU colleagues; OR for an alternate promo code to purchase reduced price tickets on another date.
  • RSVP here to tell us when you plan to attend the play and to indicate your interest in attending the post-performance discussion.  We’ll notify you when details for the discussion have been confirmed.

If you have any questions or if the tickets appear as sold out at any point, email Andrea Fontana.

This is an exciting opportunity to be with your colleagues, experience a thought-provoking James Baldwin play and support our neighbors at Langston.  Invite other faculty and staff to join you!

Co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Center for Community Engagement and Center for Jesuit Education, Seattle University.
