The College of Education's office of Professional & Continuing Education has developed high-quality, affordable endorsement academies for Washington State teachers. Endorsement Academy have been developed in high-need and in-demand subjects. The Endorsement Academies are offered online and on-site in partnership with school districts.

The office of Professional & Continuing Education is looking for certified, highly qualified lead teachers and coaches with classroom experience who are endorsed in the high-need areas listed below.

No experience with online instruction is necessary. Instructors are provided a complete course template from which to teach, along with texts and instructional and technical support. 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • A master’s degree
  • Endorsement in development or instruction area
  • Classroom teaching experience or teacher coaching experience
  • Experience delivering professional development to teachers

Application Procedures

Applications for endorsement academies are accepted on a rolling basis. Apply today.  

Applications for instructors are accepted throughout the year. Qualified applicants will be contacted for phone interviews throughout the year, depending on need.

Requirements

  • Complete the EA Instructor Application form
  • Letter of recommendation from a principal or district-level administrator
  • Copy of your valid Washington State certificate
  • Current resume or CV
