Mary Hammerly received the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP), a nonprofit that provides no-cost civil, legal services to survivors of domestic violence in King County. Hammerly is a longtime supporter of ELAP, working at their clinics and on pro bono cases over the past 30 years. She has also taught many CLEs and mentors staff attorneys.
