How can you say no to Rudy?

Rudy hit the campaign trail today. No, SU's favorite redhawk isn’t running for public office, but rather trying to take Seattle University’s Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign to new heights. There was one problem, though: Rudy can only communicate through hand—er, make that wing—gestures. So the regal raptor brought along an earthbound friend (Mike Mullen, Facilities Services) to translate and help make a case for supporting the university and its students.

Pictured here at her desk listening to the stump speech is Kaily Serralta of Marketing Communications. Through the bird's interpreter, Rudy said, "You don't have to contribute your nest egg to make a difference. In fact, participation matters most, and gifts of all sizes are appreciated."
