The SU community is encouraged to assist disaster-stricken areas.

Seattle University continues to keep in its thoughts and prayers those who have been affected by natural disasters in recent weeks—from the communities here in the Northwest and northern California grappling with wildfires, to the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, as well as the earthquake in Mexico.

Faculty, staff and students interested in supporting relief efforts are invited to contribute to organizations such as:

  • Catholic Charities
  • The Salvation Army
  • American Red Cross
  • Mexican Red Cross
  • Global Giving
  • Washington State Combined Fund Drive

Guidance in determining where to direct support can be found at Charity Navigator.
