What do I need to know about SU's campus publicity processes and policies?

As we settle back into planning events for our campus community, a few reminders and updates about campus publicity are listed below. Campus departments, clubs, organizations and offices can also reference the Campus Publicity Policy.

Please note that this policy is in effect for all on- and off-campus organizations. 

  • ConnectSU News/Student Announcement Request: Student announcements are now available through ConnectSU News, a weekly e-mail newsletter containing events, campus information and more. To request your announcement, please visit ConnectSU and fill out the Student Announcement Request located under Campus Links. This newsletter is managed by the ConnectSU Hub staff, formerly the Redhawk Resource Hub Desk, located on the first floor of the Student Center.

  • On-Campus Publicity Request: The Center for Student Involvement is now approving flyers, posters, Student Center TV ads, table tents and more through the On-Campus Publicity Request on ConnectSU (also available under Campus Links). Utilize this link to get your on-campus publicity approved virtually before you print. This form is managed by the Center for Student Involvement staff (e-mail 
  • ConnectSU Social Media: With more than 440 followers on Instagram and a growing community on Facebook, social media managers are encouraged to tag @seattleuconnectsu to help boost your outreach. ConnectSU social media is managed by the ConnectSU Hub and Center for Student Involvement staff.

  • Off-Campus Publicity: Off-campus vendors, businesses, etc., can get their flyers approved in-person at the ConnectSU Hub, located on the first floor of the Student Center.
