This year’s Seattle U Gives—a 24-hour day of giving—features 45 Challenges totaling more than $350,000 to be unlocked on Feb. 24.

“While there are a great deal of special causes to support across campus, we want to particularly highlight our Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) Emergency Fund, which will be a $30,000 Challenge unlocked by 600 alumni gifts to any area or cause,” says Janelle Simms, assistant director of Annual Giving.

The OMA Emergency Fund provides emergency financial assistance to students who are experiencing one-time, non-tuition related expenses—covering things like rent, utilities and medical expenses.
