The International Dinner is back on February 25 with an evening of live entertainment, food and fun, centered on the theme of a World Night Market.

It’s almost that time of year when Campion Ballroom is transformed into an eclectic and wondrous mix of cultural sights, sounds and food at the International Dinner.

Presented each winter quarter by Seattle University’s International Student Center, the annual dinner is Saturday, February 25, 6–10 p.m. in Campion. The event is open to the campus community, friends and families and will feature live entertainment from various cultural clubs along with great food and company.

“The ISC International Dinner is one of the signature events on campus and it is always a joy to see the community come together to celebrate our rich cultural diversity through food, entertainment and activities,” says ISC Director Dale Watanabe. “It is a feast for the eyes and palette. Last year saw the return of an in-person event and a successful collaboration with different ethnic/cultural clubs … and we hope to continue this in the years to come.”

Much like last year, the theme of the dinner is a “World Night Market” with cultural clubs showcasing their favorite food and music and arts from different parts of the world.

“The International Dinner is one of the amazing things ISC offers to students, either International or not,” says ISC Programming Assistant Rosalia Antonio, ’23. “It is a place where students have the biggest opportunity to share with others about their culture through the taste of food offered and the environment set up each year.”

Tickets for the dinner are $15 and the event often sells out so grab your spot today.
