Seattle University is listed among the guide's top 300 colleges and universities.

Seattle University is among the top 300 colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada and Great Britain selected for the 2015 edition of the Fiske Guide to Colleges.

Compiled by former New York Times education editor Edward B. Fiske, the guide looks at a broad range of subjects, including student body, academics, social life, financial aid, campus setting, housing, food and extracurricular activities.

For more than 30 years, millions of students, parents and guidance counselors have relied on the Fiske Guide to present the "best and most interesting" schools during their college search.

College of Distinction

Seattle University has been identified as a 2014-2015 College of Distinction and a Catholic College of Distinction

Colleges of Distinction is a guide that takes into account the success of graduates, the quality of teaching, graduation rates, class size and campus atmosphere. High school college counselors nominate colleges and universities for inclusion in the national guide. Fewer than half of those considered are selected to be in the guide.

Catholic Colleges of Distinction also showcases Seattle University among those schools that excel at four distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities and successful outcomes.
