How to Apply

Freshmen

  • October 1 - Earliest opportunity to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - submit by February 1
  • November 15 – Early Action deadline
  • Late December - Early Action Decisions mailed
  • January 15 – Regular Decisions deadline
  • Early March – Regular Decisions mailed
  • May 1 - National Candidate’s Reply deposit deadline
  • September – Fall Quarter classes begin

Transfer/Post Baccalaureate Students

  • October 1 – First day to file FAFSA - submit by February 1
  • December 1 – Nursing deadline for Fall Quarter (updated official transcripts must be sent to the Seattle University Undergraduate Admissions Office at the end of the fall term, even if courses are still in progress. You will send another official transcript once your coursework is completed.)
  • Late February - Early March interviews of selected candidates
  • Late March/Early April – BSN admissions decisions mailed
  • 30 days afer decision notification date - BSN Candidate reply and deposit due 
  • September – Fall Quarter classes begin

Note: The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Seattle University is a direct-entry program and as such cannot accommodate changes of major into nursing by current Seattle University students.
