BS 2-Year Transfer Program of Study

Suggested Plan of Study for Junior Transfer and Post-Baccalaureate Degree Students

A student's actual plan of study may vary due to prior educational experience or individual goals. 

Degree Requirements

Credits: minimum of 180 credits
Credits in major: 130
GPA cumulative minimum: 2.5
Prerequisite GPA: 2.5

Students must first earn a GPA minimum cumulative of 2.5 and a GPA minimum of 2.5 in pre-requisite courses to begin major.

Curriculum Notes

  • All major courses must be graded "C" (2.0) or better.
  • Students begin their Diagnostic Ultrasound coursework in their junior year after successful completion of general and prerequisite requirements. Students enter the program as a cohort, or class, and progress through their course of study together. Courses in the curriculum are integrated and must be taken in order.
  • Starting Fall 2022 students will choose to pursue either a General (G), Cardiac (C), Vascular (V) track of study.
  • For complete information on courses, prerequisites, etc., use this information in conjunction with the online Catalog (http://catalog.seattleu.edu/) for the current year.

Application Requirements

The example below assumes that you enter SU with junior standing (at least 90 credits), or have earned either a transferable Associate of Arts or Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, it assumes you have successfully completed the following prerequisite courses:

  • BIOL 2200 Anatomy and Physiology I with lab
  • BIOL 2210 Anatomy and Physiology II with lab
  • PHYS 1050 Mechanics (algebra-based) with lab
  • PHYS 1060 Waves, Sound, Electricity, and Magnetism (algebra-based) with lab
  • MATH 1021 Precalculus Algebra
  • MATH 1022 Precalculus Trigonometry
