Stephen Sundborg, S.J., retired in June 2021 after 24 years as Seattle U’s president. SU’s longest serving president, Father Steve—as he is fondly known—led the university through many of its most pivotal and defining moments of transformation and innovation.
Eduardo Peñalver is embracing change. The Seattle University president, entering his third year on the job, is leading the school out of the Covid-19 pandemic and leaving the status quo behind.
