Online Clinical Mental Health Counseling

A degree from Seattle University’s online Clinical Mental Health Counseling program helps prepare students to meet the academic requirements to apply for licensure as a mental health counselor in most states. Students who intend to work in Washington state are eligible to apply for licensure as a mental health counselor associate and/or a substance use disorder professional in Washington. The degree earned upon completion of the program is a Master of Arts in Education with a specialty in Counseling, also listed as an M.A.Ed. in Counseling.
