About this Program

Train for in-demand careers in user experience (UX) design while gaining expertise in user research, app development, interface design and emerging technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality. The Interaction (UX) Design program emphasizes a human-centered approach and allows you to design solutions that address complex societal challenges.

With an average class size of 15 students, you can expect to get the individual attention you’ll need to excel user experience design. Many of the faculty members who lead these classes are experienced professionals with successful careers in UX, interaction design and digital media. CCASU provides guidance and support during the internship process, and former students have interned at tech companies, design studios and arts organizations in Seattle. The learning process also includes annual student showcases, collaborative projects and capstones.

This program also includes access to facilities for digital media, photography, painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking, as well as the Multimedia Checkout Center.

Finish your degree and go on to become a UX designer, interaction designer, UI designer, app developer, user researcher or experience designer.
