Application Deadlines
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion to DNP for non-nurses with a bachelor’s degree. Students start during the Summer Quarter. Priority application deadline is December 1.
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care DNP for nurses with a bachelor’s degree and an RN. Students start Summer Quarter. Priority application deadline is December 1.
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Post-Master’s DNP for nurses with a master’s degree and an RN or NP. Students may start either Summer or Fall Quarter. Priority application deadline is January 15, then are accepted on a space available basis until filled.
When deadlines fall on a weekend or holiday, applicants have until offices reopen to submit application materials.

- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care APNI-DNP and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care RN-DNP applications are accepted on a space available basis through March 1
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Post-Master's DNP Priority Application Deadline: January 15, after that applications accepted on space available basis

SU will communicate via your email and application status page. Admission decisions will be available to view via your application status page. Your status page is also a great way to make sure that your application is not missing any required materials, and it’s where we will upload any additional forms you may need to complete. It's recommended that you check your application status page at least once a week.
The College of Nursing cannot release any information regarding where you rank on the waitlist or how many other persons are also on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, the College of Nursing will contact you and update your application status. This can occur at any time between March and June.
