M4 Range & Ruck march

M4 Range

On November 16, the Brady Battalion held a Range Day to introduce Cadets to basic marksmanship skills and the Table VI qualification. The day began with weapon zeroing, allowing Cadets to get comfortable with their firearms to suit their preferences while reinforcing the core principles of marksmanship. The Cadets were supervised and coached by the MS4’s.

When all Cadets were confident with their zero, they made movement to the qualification range. The qualification range challenges Cadets with 40 rounds to successfully hit pop up targets at various distances. Our two top scorers on their first time were CDT Adler and CDT Baleto, both with a score of 24. The top overall score was from CDT Farrow with a score of 30.

MS3 Ruck

On November 8, the MS3’s of the Brady Battalion did their 6-mile ruck in order to prepare them for CST and improve their cardiovascular endurance. All of the participants completed the ruck at the RECONDO standard which is 6 miles in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes.
