Cadet Water Survival Training - CWST
The Brady Battalion recently completed its Combat Water Survival Training, an integral part of preparing our Cadets for real-world scenarios they might face in aquatic environments. This rigorous training focused on essential skills like survival swimming, efficient gear management, and navigating water obstacles to build resilience and confidence. During the event, Cadets were tasked with swimming in uniform, managing equipment, and overcoming challenging obstacles that simulated potential operational situations. Their perseverance and teamwork were evident and thanks to the dedication of our MS4 leadership and Cadre, the event was a resounding success, reinforcing our Cadets' readiness and adaptability.

PMI-Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction Lab
This fall, Cadets from our ROTC battalion took part in a hands-on Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction Lab exercise designed to deepen their understanding of M4 fundamentals and improve their qualification skills. The event included four interactive stations, each aimed at building core skills and confidence with the M4 rifle including M4 safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, transitions, and the smokeless range.
The PMI Lab exercise was a valuable experience for our Cadets, helping to build both technical skills and confidence as they work toward achieving Army qualification standards.

Cadets pushed themselves through each of the six events, from the deadlift to the 2-mile run. The event served as an important opportunity to not only assess physical readiness but also to build camaraderie. The battalion's performances set the stage for future success in training.

Land Navigation Lab
Prior to the imminent doom that is Field Training Exercise in Washington, Cadets participated in the Fall Quarter Land Navigation Lab. The Brady Battalion displayed high motivation, with all Cadets completing the four stations and passing their respective check-on learning exercises.
The Land Navigation Lab consisted of many topics, providing a refresher on concepts such as terrain identification, compass familiarity, and plotting points. The lab also introduced more complex concepts, namely, route planning. Regardless of their prior exposure to these concepts, all Cadets exceeded the standard.
