Contracting Ceremony
Cadets' official commitment to service as Army Officers is symbolized during the Army ROTC Contracting Ceremony. This event recognizes the Cadets' leadership and service as well as scholarship acceptance.
The Army ROTC Contracting Ceremony is a crucial milestone for our Cadets as they take the Oath of Office and pledge duty as future Army leaders. It honors their efforts and scholarship opportunities for study and training. Cadets exhibit military principles of leadership and service by participating in this ceremony. This ceremony recognizes their devotion and builds ROTC relationships, preparing them for commissioning as an Army Officer. During the most recent contracting ceremony the Brady Battalion was fortunate to have MG Lance Curtis administer the oath and leave the Cadets with some words of wisdom and inspiring remarks.

Round Robin
Each school year, Welcome Week marks the start of the school year for the ROTC program, as the upper-class students provide help to incoming first year students as they move in and begin their college journey.
From helping new Cadets with moving in, to beginning the year with briefs from University and Army contacts, the new students were able to learn how to balance ROTC and school effectively.
Along with briefs, there was a new event added that was a smashing success for the first-year students, our Cadet Round Robin. This was a unique event that was put on for the new Cadets, along with their families, to learn about all the opportunities within ROTC from the older Cadets via their own personal experiences. From Color Guard to Air Assault, and even a pickleball club created by one of our own Cadets, the Round Robin was a great event to show more experiences that can be achieved within ROTC.

Move In
With the start of each school year, the Brady Battalion volunteers to help assist other Seattle University students move in. Doing so allows for outreach in the community as Cadets represent our program and are able to talk to other students and family members about Seattle University and ROTC while welcoming them to their new home.
