With physical distancing measures in place to combat the spread of COVID-19, it is more important than ever to share meaningful online experiences with friends, family and your community.
Seattle University is launching a virtual Homecoming celebration November 13-14 that will connect alumni across the country and around the world. This fun online space will provide opportunities to socialize and showcase your class pride. “This year’s Homecoming will be like no other. To provide a virtual Homecoming, we have to expand our concept of home. Seattle U strives to be a home for our alumni whether that is in person, in solidarity, or in spirit. Homecoming is a time to celebrate and nurture this connection," said Jonathan Brown, '92, '94, Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement. No matter where you live now, join us and reconnect with your fellow alums.
Our programming includes zoom reunions and ‘choose your own adventure’ online activities that you can consume throughout the festivities such as videos, crafts and competitions to engage with in your own time.
Live events:
- 50+ Reunion honoring the Classes of 1970 and earlier
- Graduates of the Last Decade Reunion welcoming graduates of the Classes of 2010-2020
Choose Your Own Adventure Offerings:
- Videos celebrating Seattle U then and now
- Zoom backgrounds and decorative print-outs to share with friends and fellow alums
- A Club Banner Competition
- A digital celebration of the Homecoming Court
- And more to come!
We can't wait to welcome you back to campus when it's safe, but in the meantime, we are excited to engage with you at our virtual celebration!
