2023 Hall of Fame Women’s Soccer
Stephanie Verdoia, ’15
Women’s Soccer, 2012-2015
As the most highly decorated player in Seattle U women's soccer history, Stephanie Verdoia, '15, is an obvious choice for the Athletics Hall of Fame.
With a school record of 51 goals, Verdoia led her teams to back-to-back tournament championships in 2013 and 2014, including the program's first Division I tournament win.
Verdoia's athletic accomplishments earned her multiple national awards, including the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America of the Year for women's soccer and the 2015 Seattle Sports Commission Female Sports Star of the Year. In January 2015, she was drafted by the Boston Breakers, becoming the first female Seattle U athlete to play with a pro league.
Verdoia credits her administrators, coaches, teammates, and professors in her success, and is proud to have contributed to Seattle University's athletic legacy.
