Mentoring Objectives & Scope
I meet with my students monthly. The first few meetings we focus on interview prep, job searches, and what different job options are. The second half of the year I like to bring in speakers based on the group’s interests.
As a mentor, I can support students in the following:
- Student transition from college to first professional role
- Improved communication and interpersonal skills
- Development of leadership skills, confidence, and executive presence
- Expanding a network, building connection, navigating an organization
During out time together, I hope you will build enthusiasm and confidence when transitioning from university to your career.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
Hybrid (mix of in-person and virtual). Evenings during the week. We will pick our meeting dates in our first meeting and meet in person as often as possible. Can meet on the Amazon Campus.
