Albers Clubs and Student Organizations
Albers clubs and organizations explore a variety of pursuits, from investing to analytics to entrepreneurship. Their activities supplement classroom education and help students build their networks.
Leadership Development and Networking Opportunities
At Albers, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. Albers Affiliated Clubs and other Albers student organizations provide opportunities to develop leadership skills, broaden social and professional backgrounds, and contribute to the University and to the community. Some of the more popular reasons to become involved include:
- The social atmosphere
- Exposure to professionals in the business community (networking is the number one way people find jobs)
- Involvement in community service projects
- Interaction with other students who have the same academic and professional goals and ambitions
- Increased contact with Albers School faculty
- Resume enhancement with activities outside the classroom.
You can find more information about Albers Affiliated Clubs on ConnectSU (requires SU login). On the Organizations tab search for 'Business' and select Clubs and Organizations under Branches.
Albers Affiliated Clubs are clubs officially recognized by the Center for Student Involvement and receive additional support and advocacy from the Albers Dean’s Office. Other Albers student organizations also receive support and advocacy from the Albers Dean’s office. This includes access to the Albers Club Room, access to additional funding, and consultation with the Dean’s Office on club efforts.
If you are a Seattle University club officially recognized by the Center for Student Involvement and would like to be considered for Albers Affiliation, please contact Gerald Corporal at gcorporal@seattleu.edu.

Albers Graduate Student Association
Fostering community among graduate students
Albers Graduate Student Association (AGSA) is a student-run organization committed to enriching the educational experience of graduate business students in the Albers School of Business. The goal of AGSA is to foster a strong sense of community among graduate students by encouraging networking between students, faculty, alumni, and members of the business community. We plan to achieve this through hosting community building events that add value to each student’s program.
From a Past Board Member
Brandon Connor
Having served on student councils in the past, I knew the great sense of community which they are capable of building within the student body. I again wanted to be a part of the creation of that fellowship and be a part of the community. AGSA not only gave me the opportunity to build relationships among students, but to begin developing relationships with and give back to the surrounding Seattle community.
