Angelo Neri Alfonso
Campus Minister for Liturgical Life
Biography
Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Angelo became deeply involved in Seattle University’s Campus Ministry during the height of COVID-19 in 2020. His passion for liturgy and liturgical music grew through his work with the Chapel of St. Ignatius Choir, leading him to officially join the ministry team as the Student Campus Minister for Liturgical Music in 2022.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in June 2024, Angelo entered his current role as Campus Minister for Liturgical Life in August. He is dedicated to integrating diverse cultural traditions, such as Simbang Gabi, a Filipino Advent Novena, into Catholic celebrations. Outside of ministry, you’ll likely find him behind a camera capturing moments, building Legos, or singing!
