Biography
Dr. Bo Han earned his PhD in Finance from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. At the Albers School of Business and Economics, he teaches undergraduate and MSF courses in Business Finance, Corporate Finance, and Entrepreneurial Finance. He has received several prestigious teaching awards, including the Financial Management Association’s Innovation in Teaching Award, Provost’s Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence from Seattle University, and the PhD Program Teaching Award from the University of Washington. His research interests lie at the intersection of international finance and corporate finance, focusing on how private and public corporations raise capital in domestic and international markets. Dr. Han's work has been published in high-quality academic journals, including European Financial Management, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. Prior to joining Seattle University, he taught at the University of Washington, University of Washington Bothell, and Central Washington University.
