Biography

Caron is a senior advisor at Insight Strategic Partners, a public and government relations firm in Seattle. She works with clients to promote their policy interests at different government levels. Before joining Insight, she was the State Relations Director and Lobbyist for the City of Seattle where she managed the City’s state portfolio and advocated on behalf of the City’s many interests. Prior to her time at the City, Caron worked at K&L Gates where she supported school districts and their needs at the state level. She built the foundation of her Olympia-based work at the Washington State Legislature where she spent almost five years as an Executive Legislative Aide to two legislators. She lives in Seattle with her husband and daughter where they enjoy exploring the city by foot.

Courses Taught
Caron teaches Policy Analysis in the MPA Program. She enjoys teaching students about the legislative process and is particularly interested in helping students learn how to participate in the public process of passing legislation as well as advocating for policy items of interest.
