Research Interests
Dr. Helliwell’s interests lie in geometry and analysis. In geometry, Dr. Helliwell studies geometric flow, which can be thought of as understanding the way surfaces and their higher-dimensional analogs evolve according to their own curvature. Additionally, Dr. Helliwell enjoys exploring questions in taxicab geometry with undergraduate researchers. Finally, Dr. Helliwell is involved in projects in analysis exploring the analytical properties of various types of domains.
