Biography & Teaching and Research Interests
Professor Kate Guts, is a licensed mental health counselor who teaches undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Growth and Development, and Writing for Research. She is a lecturer in the Seattle University Department of Psychology where she pursues research on mental health stigma in academia, as well as research on intimacy and the challenges of maneuvering closeness in contemporary relationships.
