Executive Coordinator to the Dean of Albers, providing support for faculty tenure and review, college events, the advisory board, and the Dean's calendar.

Biography

Michele joined the Albers School of Business and Economics in 2021. She has extensive experience in the tech, non-profit, and education sectors and uses her skills to create and support meaningful student engagement and retention programs and events. In addition to supporting the Dean of the business school, she coordinates college events and celebrations and supervises student employees. Michele supports the Albers Dean's Executive Advisory Board members made up of industry leaders from PACCAR, Alaska Airlines, Microsoft, Starbucks, Nordstrom, T-Mobile, and many other corporations.

Prior to joining Seattle University, Michele worked at WHY FOR GOOD, serving as a project manager for Ciara and Russell Wilson's Why Not You Foundation. There, she helped design and rollout three unique programs to increase teen usage at local libraries in partnership with JPMorgan Chase and King County Library Services.

Earlier in her career, she worked in corporate and foundation relations at Technology Access Foundation. At TAF, she implemented a comprehensive program to fundraise and secure high tech internships for students of color participating in TAF's extensive STEM training program.

Before working in education, Michele was instrumental in the development and launching of several web-based products and businesses in Seattle's dynamic high tech industry.
