Biography
Michelle Taynton was born and raised in Vacaville, CA where she attended California State University, Sacramento for her undergraduate studies. There she earned her B.A. in history with a minor in political science while being a member of their Women’s Indoor and Beach Volleyball teams. Throughout her time in school, she made great connections with her advisors and became interested in the field of student support services. This led her to Seattle University to pursue her MBA in Sport Management. After interning for two years in Seattle University’s Athletic Academic Services unit, her passion for student support and Seattle University’s students grew immensely. She is looking forward to her new role working in Albers and continuing to be a part of the SU community! In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball with friends, going to Alki beach, and trying new coffee shops around the city.
