Biography
Personal Bio
Molly is a native Iowan, but has called Washington her home for the past 20 years. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Education from Seattle University in Adult Education and Training. She first encountered Albers as part of her graduate program electives, taking Management classes in team building & leadership, adventure based leadership and the EQ Dolomites expedition. Molly came to Albers in 2017 after running her own coaching practice. Her love of higher education and the desire to support students on their educational journeys brought her into advising. Molly has worked in a variety of settings from Fortune 500 to small non-profits, and even as an entrepreneur. Previous employers include the YMCA, Washington Mutual, JP Morgan Chase, Starbucks, and the Lake Washington Rowing Club. Molly brings experience in training, leadership, and professional and personal coaching with an expertise in continuing education, exploring career changes, supporting informed choices, and helping individuals craft successful (academic) plans and achieve their goals. Molly enjoys drawing out the best in people, sees the big picture and the details, and listens with empathy. When not working, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and their large, slobbery dog. She is an active volunteer with the Junior League of Seattle and when she has a free minute, she loves to cook/bake, sew Halloween costumes for her kids, and play in the snow.
