Biography
Rachel Olson joined the Office of Strategic Initiatives in 2024, following five years as the Program Coordinator in Seattle University's Center for Faculty Development, where she supported a variety of faculty development programming in the areas of teaching & learning, faculty professional development, and research practice, as well as serving as the administrative lead for the university's New Faculty Institute. An innovative thinker with a passion for process improvement and individual and organizational development, Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of British Columbia and a Master's in Business Administration from Seattle University. In her free time, Rachel is a foodie who travels the world in search of delicious things to nosh on. When at home in West Seattle, she and her husband spend their time attempting to cook the things they tried on their travels and playing with their black lab, Poppy, and two senior cats, Peanut and Zazzles.
