Biography
What do I do here at Seattle University?
Managing Editor, Marketing Communications Editor, Seattle University Magazine and President’s Report.
Past Experience:
Former Seattle Times writer; editor for a chain of small town newspapers; freelance writer.
Biggest pet peeves?
People who go out of their way to be cruel and mean-spirited. Even bigger pet peeve: when they try to justify it by saying, “I’m just being honest.” Honesty is a virtue. Boorish behavior, not so much.
Coffee Preference?
Single Venti iced, non-fat, sugar-free vanilla latte. Yes, I’m one of those people.
Favorite Sports teams?
I am a hometown girl so I always root for the home teams, so the Seahawks, Mariners and Sounders.
Most embarrassing song you love?
I say, unabashedly and without an ounce of irony—so I guess I’m not embarrassed by the choice after all—“Making Love Out of Nothing At All” by Air Supply.
