Summer Housing at Seattle University

Standard Residence Halls are a great option for overnight programs and budget-conscious interns. Offering single (private) or double (shared) occupancy, residence hall rooms have shared bathroom facilities on each floor.  

Common areas, ice machines, kitchens, and laundry facilities are available to all guests staying in the residence halls. The service desk is available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and staff are happy to answer questions, give directions, provide local information, and offer general assistance. A member of our service desk staff is always on call and available by phone any time the desk is closed.

Bellarmine, Campion, and Xavier Halls serve as standard residence hall accommodations for overnight programs at Seattle University. 

Each room in our residence halls comes with a bed, wardrobe, desk, and chair per person, plus a sink, mirror, and compact microwave/refrigerator unit per room. There is also a large lobby and lounge area, a television room, computer lab, ice machine, kitchen, and laundry facilities in each building.  

All guests have complimentary access to Seattle University’s high-speed internet.

Beds are made up for arrival with pillow, pillowcase, sheets, and a blanket, plus two towels and washcloth are also provided. Additional linens are available upon request. Long-term guests receive fresh linens weekly, or guests may exchange linens any time at the desk. 

Chardin Hall, our deluxe residence hall, features standard residence hall amenities but also offers private bathroom facilities. Rooms are available in single, double, triple, and quad configurations. (Single rooms are limited.)

Common areas in the hall feature lounge areas, a television room, study rooms, computer lab, ice machine, kitchen, and laundry facilities. All units in the Murphy Apartments feature a full kitchen and bathroom. Available in single, double, and quad occupancy, these are perfect for people who prefer some privacy. Communal areas in the complex feature a central lounge with kitchen facilities and television, and on-site laundry facilities. 

Although there is no service desk at the apartments, guests staying in the Murphy Apartments may visit or call the service desks in Campion or Chardin Halls for requests or inquiries.

Quad apartments have four single bedrooms, each with one twin bed, and may be arranged for triple or quadruple occupancy (sorry; single and double occupancy options are not available for quad apartments). Each apartment contains a kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Many apartments have dishwashers; disabled-accessible apartments are available.

One-bedroom apartments have one bedroom with two or three twin beds. Every apartment contains a kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Many apartments have dishwashers; disabled-accessible apartments are available.

Apodments are single, private rooms with private bathroom, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Each floor features a kitchen stocked with basic kitchen essentials, and is shared with 4-11 interns. Since kitchens are common spaces, residents must clean their own dishes and keep the kitchens clean. Wi-Fi is provided by the building; Interns may use the Seattle University network while on the campus.

There is a first floor common area lounge for all intern residents to enjoy. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor.

Each room features a private bathroom, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Individual units do NOT have kitchens. Residents will need to provide their own linens.
