Elections Code and How to Seek Office

We're glad you're considering launching a campaign to join SGSU. Seeking a position within student government is straightforward and simple. To get more information and guidelines on how to seek a position, contact SGSUVPCOM@seattleu.edu and SGSUElections@seattleu.edu.

Positions:

  • Executive Members: the Student Body President, the Senate Chair, the Chief Financial Officer, and two vice presidents.
  • Senators: those elected to represent a particular constituent group, such as a college.
  • Staff: those hired by the Student Body President and the respective Executive member.
