Monica Ingram will look to advance university's enrollment goals when she joins the university on July 1.
Monica Ingram, currently Associate Dean at of Cornell Law School, has been named Seattle University’s new Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. Ingram will join the university on July 1.
To Seattle University Ingram brings extensive experience in higher education administration and a deep commitment to student success. As Vice Provost she will be poised to lead the university in further advancing enrollment goals and fostering an inclusive and diverse student body.
“I am excited to become a part of the Provost’s dynamic leadership team,” says Ingram. “Seattle University has a long history of 'marrying' faith, academic excellence and community engagement—an education of the whole person that is reflected in the students and the alumni who I have been fortunate to meet so far.”
With more than 20 years of experience in higher education executive leadership and enrollment management, Ingram has also served as Assistant Dean for Admission and Financial Aid at The University of Texas School of Law, where she successfully developed innovative recruitment strategies, expanded access for underrepresented students and enhanced student support services. Additionally, she has worked as an attorney in K–12 public education. Ingram earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University.
At Cornell she served on various committees including the Admissions Strategy Work Group, the Committee on Diversity in Admissions and the Title IX Hearing Board, to name a few.
