Office of University Counsel
The Seattle University OUC acts as general counsel to the University. Its attorneys are the chief legal advisors to the University, the President, and the Board of Trustees. The OUC directs the provision of all legal services for Seattle University, consults with expert attorneys in specialized areas, and coordinates litigation.

Our clients are:
- The Seattle University corporation and its governing body, the Board of Trustees;
- The President and other senior administrators; and
- University employees acting in their official capacity.
The OUC does not provide advice or representation regarding personal legal matters.
